Combining a love of horse racing and a background in graphic design, Sue Bryant founded the Freddie Parker brand to create a high end fashion line, inspired by the social side of race meetings. The resulting range is enjoyed by those that share Sue’s passion, whether they are involved in racing as owners or trainers to anyone that loves the atmosphere and excitement of a day at the races.

The origins of the brand come from Sue’s great-great uncle Fred Furnell Parker, a silversmith, who in 1915 was invited to the US to engrave the racing trophy for the Kentucky Derby.

He travelled on HMS Carpathia which interestingly three years earlier had picked up survivors from HMS Titanic and which was later sunk by a German U-boat during the First World War.

“Tales of Uncle Fred and his adventures have passed down through the family. When looking for a name for the brand Freddie Parker was an obvious choice”

- Sue Bryant, MD
